About

An analyst's discipline. An operator's work rate.

Finance background, operator perspective, and a 5.0 Google rating across 133 reviews.

From financial analyst to commercial real estate.

Before real estate, Sebastian spent years as a Senior Financial Analyst in pharmaceutical manufacturing — building financial models, evaluating capital projects, and learning to make decisions with incomplete data under real deadlines. That background shapes how he approaches every deal: numbers first, assumptions second, gut feeling last.

He transitioned into commercial real estate because the skill set translated directly — underwriting properties isn't that different from underwriting capital expenditures. What changed was the scale of impact. Instead of optimizing a P&L line item, he was helping a business owner find the right space to grow, or an investor deploy capital into a property that would cash-flow from day one.

What five years in the field looks like.

Over the past five years with Mullarkey Real Estate Group, Inc., Sebastian has advised clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and investment strategy across every major commercial asset type — office, retail, industrial, flex, and multi-family. His deals range from a campground sale in rural Eastern NC to industrial listings that went under contract in two weeks.

He serves 14 markets across Eastern North Carolina, from university-driven Greenville to military-anchored Jacksonville, port-city Wilmington, and the fastest-growing counties in the state. As a CCIM Candidate (2027), he's pursuing the most respected credential in commercial real estate investment analysis.

Outside the office.

When he's not working with clients, Sebastian is usually with his family — his wife Joella and their Goldendoodle, Miss Penny. He trains for Ironman triathlons, golfs, and is active in Greenville's business community as the 2024 Young Professional of the Year.
